the best part is the logo in the bottom right.

i dont like the red on white, and the yellow just doesnt help things.

shapes look good, but over all it needs some work.

I am a noob so my opinions dont count for much but the reason why this hurts your eyes is that red and yellow just don't fit on a colour wheel.
You really need to look at colour before playing with it. The opposite of yellow is pink, not red. And the opposite of red is blue. Hence the harshness of the colours when they are together. If you are going to put such contrasting colours together try finding out which compliment each other and which give headaches.

your opinion counts... no one said it didnt (and if they did, well they're wrong).

just change the colours of the red n' white bg, i dont think thats working at all.

thanx for the comments guys! (btw every opinioin counts ) but i don't think i will be changing this one, as i said i made it for a comp, and i've already changed it once, so i don't think they would be happy if i changed it again, althought the red/yellow kinda helps get the feeling of a reaction (i was kinda goin for a nuclear explosion kinda thing) and that would be very bright and such, anyways, thanx for the comments

The logo is just a 3d font, i've got it here somewhere, works well though.

yeah..the colors hurt my eyes. Try a different multicoloring style maybe, but other than that the base design is good.
