    Thumbs down

I think this might be better described as a "design or interface" but I was advised to post here.

Anyway, this is the magazine for an animating/art group i'm part of, called the Clock Crew. We make movies and submit them to Newgrounds.com.

This is the second issue of the magazine, and I designed most of the graphics and all of the layout. I'm "LeekClock" in the credits.

The artwork was done in photoshop, and compiled with Macromedia Flash.

    Here it is:

If that link doesn't work, try ClockCrew.net.

The file size got quite large, so in the next issue I might let each page load individually - for a series of small waits instead of one long wait.

It deffinetly belongs in Design/Interface (all webdesigns go there)

Looks really good. Although I've seen the page turn effect before, it is not at all overused so your site is still very unique. I think the only critique I have is one of functionality. You need to make a way to turn back the page, and possibly a quick menu button where you can access all the chapters like it's displayed in the contents page.

    Great work, keep it up.

Sorry, i forgot to mention the quick controls:

    Page Up - next page

    Page Down - previous page

    Home - jump to cover

Might I add that I did the turn page effect myself B)

As soon as it was loading, i thought it looked like crap (the background looked like crap :P )

But when it loaded, i was amazed by the quality and coolness of the front cover

The page flipping thing was pretty cool, but heres some suggestions:

Some times, part of the previous page goes onto the next one. If it isnt just my dumb internet connection, try to fix that

Make a hand turning the pages, and the pages like moving

Looks well done. And yes it is just your dumb internet connection Katgirl. I had no such problems with mine. Keep up the mag though. Don't just let it die.

Wow... I really like that idea. Really, I was planning on doing a little book (not in flash though). Overall its pretty cool, although I feel better font selection could have been used throughout the entire image.
