3D studio max tutorials???

Greetings,
I'm trying to expand my horizons and learn 3D studio max, problem is, until installed this software I always felt fairly bright...lol now I feel severely stupid.
I am in deperate need of 3 D studio max tutorials, I'm talking starting from the most basic things up. I have the ones that came with it, problem is..I don't have the options and menu setup the way they seem to think I do so I can't follow along well if at all.
preferably something with pictures too because I spend twenty minutes searching for something if I don't know which of the mariad buttons it is.
if anyone can help me I'll be ever so grateful

I'm glad someone else is looking for the same type of tutorial i am lol. I just got the program about a week ago (the 7.0) verson and i'm looking for tutorial's on it, As softcell said the most basic one's would be good. So could any mod or admin please add on a 3DS max tutorial fourm? Oh and softcell if you want some more advanced tutorial's later on i have a good site for it. www.tutorialoutpost.com .

thanks for that, I have a few of those bookmarked from that site already, I also have 7.0, amazing how many tuts there are for other programs, very few for max.

Oo you can use any tutorial for any software with any software. Every steps are simmilar ^^ and there more than enough tuts for 3dsm, especially for beginners.
