Ok, when I try to open my adobe photoshop 7.0, it looks like everything is going alright. It is at the beginnng loading screen and once it is done, it just randomly closes and I can't get into the program. Originally, there was a problem that said soemthing about a text error. Something like, a certain text that is build into photoshop is not there or something. Now, it just doesn't open. I've tried to revert my computer back to a few days ago hoping that a file would be back or that it would just work. I don't know what to do! I've reinstalled it and got a new copy (limewire) but it doesn't work either. Imageready works fine, but photoshop doesn't! I need some answers and help here!

    It would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Twan

did you reset photoshop to its defaults?

Photoshop may keep a configuration file around even after you've deleted it. alot of software does that.

this same thing happened to me with my 7... what i did was i just removed all the plugins ive gotten for 7 (incuding brushes and styles along with fonts) and reset it to defaults... then i ran a system scan... and deleted everything that poped up... then re-installed the same photoshop and updated it with the plugins on the site... and it worked ^^ lol good as new
