Sry, i don't have any file transfers (Macintosh = no internet has photoshop Windows = has internet no photoshop) so i can't post results:
1. Open new document in Imageready/Photoshop
2. Filter>Render>Clouds (if you don't really like the way the clouds are the first time, repeat it till ya like wat ya see)
3. Select>All (Ctrl+A)
4. Edit>Copy (Ctrl+C)
5. Edit>Paste (Ctrl+V) 9 more times till you have 10 layers
6. Select layer 10 and go Filter>Blur>Radial Blur at 100
Select layer 9, Filter>Blur>Radial Blur at 90
Select layer 8, Filter>Blur>Radial Blur at 80
Select layer 7, Filter>Blur>Radial Blur at 70
Select layer 6, Filter>Blur>Radial Blur at 60
Select layer 5, Filter>Blur>Radial Blur at 50
Select layer 4, Filter>Blur>Radial Blur at 40
Select layer 3, Filter>Blur>Radial Blur at 30
Select layer 2, Filter>Blur>Radial Blur at 20
Select layer 1, Filter>Blur>Radial Blur at 10
7. Edit>Paste (Ctrl+V) the clouds in as Layer 11, rename as layer 0, move below layer 1
8. Save and go to ImageReady if you are in Photoshop
9. First frame, make sure only layer 0 is visable
second frame = layer 1
third frame = layer 2
forth frame = layer 3, etc.
until you get to frame 11 layer 10
10. Duplicate frame 11 so you now have 12 frames
11. Now go reverse,
Frame 13 = layer 9
Frame 14 = layer 8
Frame 15 = layer 7, etc.
When you reach 22 frames your done! watch your storm spin!
(yes, i'm a newbie so for people who are more advanced will find this boring and will want screenshots, well i can't get any and i'm sry but if you could post your results, that would be great!

It gives an basic of Imageready's Animation usage. But I don't really like the result. Try some more effects
-
you can also try the same thing, only replacing the clouds in step 2. with any disign. I tried lightning (its somewhere on the site, i didn't want to rip a tut) and it look a little more interesting
-
Pretty cool effect, does anyone have a picture?
-
Cool tut.... but this tut would look better with a final result!
-
i donno if ive done this right, im new to all this stuff so eres my finished version
-
Pretty nice effect but couldn't you just tween it?
-
Sorry im a newb, but how do you create an animation to put in frames?

*It's Hard to Explain but I will try*
Well.........inside of Imageready when you open it you will have a palet in your left side lower corner and you will see (Animation)(Image Map)(Slice) make sure your (Animation) window is open and you will see (Rewind)<<) (Skip Back)<|) (Play)>) (Skip Forward)|>).......But you wont see the letters just the icons then ull see kinda like a bead Ooo or something like that lol but next to it is where you put your created frames in then it plays em as he tryed to explain in this tut.
*Btw for a begginer I would say that it is good for a begginer but yes as Quickdust said try some more effects and it would be a good cool result*
