I drawed this picture last year, can't remember exactly when, but here it is. I thought it would be fun to know what you think about it, since it's kind of old and all. Well, don't know what to say more than that, so, comment and critizise it please!

looks pretty cool, i jst don understand why is his body black, its suppose to be shading?
btw: maybe work on leg
-
yes he is black, because there isn't any lightsource around him, or at least not infront of him. The light comes from the right of him. Do you think it looks bad ? I think it looks kind of nice, it gives a nice effect. What do you mean "maybe you should work on the leg" ? please be more specific
-
i dunno the bottom of leg looks flat to me.....
i really dont know but i dont liek it too much how its dark, if theres no light source the bacgkround shoulde be black then too, or  i dunno...?

As I mentioned earlier, the actual art is good (as usual). However, what I'd reckon is rather 'ugly'/malplaced is the whole darkness-deal you are going with. Sure, even if the intension was for the orch (or whatever the ugly soab is) to be in silhouette, I'd say that it would look better if you just didn't keep it all black, instead add minor details of light within all that black: the light from the sun is reflected more than we think. You should know all this from our biology lessons ^^
Well well... Update, scan and I'd love to see a colouring of this one!
Keep it up, dude.

Sigh, I didn't want to make the background black, I that'd make the whole picture look dead and waay to dark. Which leg are you talking about?
Dompa. Thank you. What's with everyone disliking the darkness in the picture? why couldn't he be dark ? and who said the sun is shining on him? I said a lightsource, it could be anything, a huge spotligt or something, that concentrates the light on one spot. This is a drawed character, there are no such thing as an orch in real life, which actually makes this piece unrealistic, and the shadow doesn't have to be 100% correct. I think it looks good, and that's the way I see it. =)

You think everything you do looks good, smartass ^^
I'm just going for realism, dude. Without a serious matter and influence, a fantasy can't be neither generated nor sealed into someones mind (deep shit). And who said there are no such things as orchs?
Ha, now when I look at it - all previous comments does sound a bit racist
Well, well.. I'm right, and you are wrong. You should listen to feedback, chuckey ^^.
-
First of all. I do not think everything I make looks good, not at all. Don't say that.
Well, this isn't a realistic picture, it's a drawing of an ugly thing called Bert, and he is not real, I know that, couse I made him up. You think the character is too dark right ? There is nothing I can do about it now, and, as I said, I wanted to try it out. Yes, it's good that you crtizise it, and that you tell me what's wrong with it, but why don't you tell me what's good about it too ? I would like to know that too, I think I deserve both positive and negative critique.

wtf haven't i seen that sketch somewhere?
Sumo says:
the actual outlining was very good, as on most of your art. But the interior is too dark (even if it was you intention for it to appear as dark - it is really TOO dark).

Translated from swedish to english btw ^^. Well well, I'd reckon this should help you remember, you old senile @#¤%!

I like it but it's just too black. You should take off some of the black so you can see detail. Even if theirs no light, at least make some brightness..the other parts of his body has light..
