Here's a new sig I made today. It's funny how they can go one way in the begining, and end up somewhere completely different in the end. This is the opposite of where I wanted this sig to go, but I think it turned out really well, so...I kept it. CnC?

I dont know what it is, but i just cant put my finger on it... i think its the bg that IMO dont fit with metroid prime. its nicely cut tho. i like it but i just think the bg dont work wit the render, besides that is nice man.

I agree with HeadShot. It is really nice, but the background doesnt go well. Keep the lines that fade in and out in the sig, though. I am not talking about the scanlines. For the background, try something...techier. Right now it looks kinda grunge.

dont like the text, and i dont like the line around the outside of the popout. not too sure about that blending, or the brushing. should have gone the tech rout on this one, since the metroid games are really really techy. as for the blending, you should have errased some at the bottom of the render, and blurred it to look as if samus was popping out of the bg, and out of the sig.

Wow...okay. I thought this would get better reviews. What's wrong with the background? To me it looks like something is exploding behind him. Thanks for the comments, but please be more specific. Thanks.

P.S. What line around the pop out? I didn't put one there and I don't see one. I saved it as a .PNG. I'll work on it and post an update sometime tomorrow. I have a bunch of stuff to do tomorrow, but I'll try and get it up...uhh, post an update tomorrow. lol...I said get it up.

in all your 450 posts have you ever made anything bigger than 400x 200

anyways i think it is ok but pop outs are over rated.
and why are you talking like an artist about sigs?

    Looks great....
But i'd desaturate the background to make the character stand out more.

No, I haven't, but it was 125X450 and it sold...
    Does that count?

Plus, if you'd read my topic, you might learn that I too think that pop outs are overrated.
