    Unhappy

    Hi all...
i use 3dsmax7 and after getting to know it pretty well i find myself frustrated by the lack of options that max's default renderer has, and the supplied mental ray isn't that good either.

I have seen some tutorials using brazil, the lighting is spectacular, and i was wondering if anyone knows where to get the plugin? Any help appreciated, thanks

you have to pay for both of them, and its not a real cheap investment either i dont think. :\ you can try and "bootleg" them, but good luck with that, i dont know that you will be able to find a good version of those, not very common. search around, check out google and what not.

but i would suggest VRAY, i have seen some of the best renders come from there.

that sounds about right ^^ and i think it may be more for VRAY, although i may be mistaken. but if you are truly serious about it, i would say it is a good investment, but only if you are serious and want to make great things. . .also, you may check out www.3dtotal.com if you have not, a great place for all 3D

Actually they have a Non-Comericial learners edition. Its free of charge, but you cant use it for serious works. I suggest you try it out, then buy later.
