Work : 2hrs of work in Bryce then 7 hrs generating render, 15 minutes in PSCS - just border and text, no more changes
Inspiration : i read some sci-fi book, and there was a planet which felt down to the ocean and was devoured by giant octopus . it inspired me so much that i hade to go to my comp. and do it !

You're definetely improving and far from being untalented :P
But, i think the entire picture needs a theme: its a nice looking render, but theres more to abstract then just rendering pretty objects.. i hope i dun sound harsh... oh well...

Quite nice m8 ^^. I like the "blood tentacles" most :P

Looks really cool, but if you actually think it really weird for the planet that that planets on has to be huge or that planet has to be very smalle :P.
The planet and sky don't fit that well, would work on that a bit but still looks great.

I like it except some litlle points:
() The sea at the far right doesn't look good (to pixely)
() The clouds are unrealistic (a bit too pixely)
But overall I like it
