Well just encase some of you idiots are already aware that humans are all going to be wiped out.
the Mayans predicted that the end date of our period will be 2011-2012
now if you already don't know about it
http://www.levity.com/eschaton/Why2012.html
a lot more info on the date and Mayans just google it.
basically the earth is going to cleanse itself, now you can argue the fact that global warming is cause of all the hurricanes ect, but I think it would happen no matter what.
in a couple years it will get worse then were into full blown earthquakes rain, tornadoes, everything.
ever hear of a thing called ice age?
and if your one of those god people, have fun screaming oh my god when the day finally arrives, or what are you going to call it Armageddon or something?
anyways have fun wasting your time babbling on how I am wrong or its just a "theory"
because yah know what everything is a theory.
I just felt like bringing this to the attention to some of the people that actually care about life as we would like to think of it ( civilization ) falling down.
I myself am happy, the world needs this. Now lets hope this time around some jackass doesn't think up a "god theory". Wait after the last ice age humans became very much more intelligent, so I guess no one would believe the whole god theory anyway, well unless there Utah

Aargh this sucks man, The world will end the day before my birthday. ARghhh, This is not funny, My day of birth is 22th december

theres been like a million the end-predictions before too  and they all were wrong.
yeah, eventually earth will be wiped out but that dont mean humandkind has to be wiped out.
Theyr starting to colonize mars in 2020, i think
now who knows whats gonna happen in like 2100?
a bit over hundred years ago, they invented aeroplanes(wright brothers, anyone?)
and a hundred years from now, theyll probably be saying, "in 2005 they couldnt even send people to mars"
so it should be possible to leave earth for good at some point

well if you read some of the research of the mayans they were actually very close to a couple things they perdicted, like were the sun and stars would be at 100's of years in the future. there is alot of info about mayans and with all thesse natural disaters happing it is starting to seem plausible.

most of the destruction in new orleans was because of it being that the thing broke causing all the water to come in.
rida and katrina are scary.

The Mayans were an extremely smart and advanced culture, however I don't believe that an event this catastrophic could be predicted that far ahead of time as there is no logical evidence leading up to the event that would be aparent to an ancient civilization.

The mayans are really smart, Almost everytime they were right with their toughts of world end such

Don't be twisted by what other people interpret as 'the end of the Mayan Calendar". The Mayans were vast and sophisticated yes, and they understood 17 different calendars, they were great trackers of time. On December 21st 2012. It will mark the end of the "Long Count", which is a cycle that goes every 1,872,000 days. The Mayan Calender is NOT linear, there is no beginnings or ends, it will only revert and a new cycle of the long count will commence.
The last time the long count was 13 or 11 Aug 3114 BC (Gregorian) according to:
http://webexhibits.org/calendars/calendar-...000000000000000
I don't think the world ended then. The calender just started over.
Also this date will mark an alignment of the winter solstice sun to the milky way's equator. This is a rare alignment that comes every 26,000 years. This shows the Mayan's adeptness as stargazing.
If the "Mayan Prophecies" are true, why wouldn't the Mayans use this great knowledge in preventing their own destruction over a thousand years ago? If they could predict the end of the world so accurately..
There are several dozen 'end of the world' theories. Those of them who have passed have one thing in common, they didn't come true.
