did this one for a friend.

this is the original:

Brushes were from DA or somewhere. I'm in the process of making my own similar to these, but they were not finished when I did this piece today.

i do not see how arrows and such are relevant to skiing

Sinse when do abstract brushes have anything to do with robots or any other game render for that matter.
It obviously shows the direction of travel. duhhhhh.

i like it. . cept for what you did with the color of the mountains and what not. that im not keen on. but everything else looks good i think. . .and i like the arrows that show direction of movement haha.

Dude, don't use brushes to do that stuff. That's lame. Just venture into the unknown and touch on the dreaded :gasp: pen tool. No seriously, just do it :P
If you want help...
Screw you
If you make sigs...
Screw you

Im with masokist, you take away a lot of the winter feeling with the recolor.

YEah, I always use my own brushes, except for this one. He wanted it in a hurry so I just downloaded some.
When you say pen tool, do you mean like drawing stright lines with the pen tool on photoshop? Seems like that would take foreverrrr.
I just make my brushes out of things that I draw, then scan them in. Although it seems like every vecotor brush I make will look like I downloaded.

I like the red mtns. they add needed contrast to the snow and trees etc.
And its really not an end to creativity if you use someone elses brushes....
just do so in a manner that fits your work, and use them in a unique way...
So they sure fit the work but I think they coud be used more unique.

This picture comes off as, retro-scrapbookish. It's different, and I think that is why I like it. It isn't another grunge abstract experiment gone wrong.
