Took me a few hours to do, and im probably going to work more on the stars because im still feeling like i can do alot more brush wise. First space art in about a year, and i cringe everytime i look at my last try. There are about 3 or 4 apoph renders in there, and im happy the way they work.

The planet looks quite good, you did good work on that. However you should work more with the bg, give it some more detail. Some sunrays maybe? Maybe a space-nabula, something like that.
That's a good start, but you should add some more to it still.

like the planet ..nice texture on it ..only thing is it seems to stand out from the rest of the pic if that makes any sense :blink:

looks good, texture is fine. only thing looking odd is the bg. There too much large stars, be brutal to them :P another point: the placement of the star clusters, the shapes are a bit to edgy and don't flow into each other (guess the large stars cover that part dunno)
I agree with ZtUPid0, add more life too the bg (downscaled lensflares work fine for that).

I like everything but i think you need toi change up the color of the smoke, fire, or w/e it is coming off the planet. Looks real nice though.

actually prodigy means someone whos limitless or full of talent. and in the respect of limitless it fits a space scene well. and i agree with you guys, the stars blow some serious ass. im going to work on that this week, this is no where near done. if i dont work on it this week, well expect it again next week thanks guys.
