Not exactly clear what the "idea" is. Looks just "Blah" too me. I like the background and text though, just not those weird renders. Plus you forgot a border.
-
There's a 1px overlay boarder on it.
The idea was that it looked like seaweed, so i just put fish on it.
Lol
If I weren't lazy I'd have made a lot more fish and such.

I don't honestly know what to say about that one/ THe render is odd, and the bg is dark. I suppose it looks good.
-
i love the bg !!!
but the renders? hmm.. i just dun like it ... sorry
-
how did you do the background? please make a tut
-
the renders are a bit muddled in ...
-
Yeah, the renders are just the first three fish I found, I cut them out and tried to use them.
Before they were WAY too bright, so I tried to darken them with a grey 12% opacity.
As for the background, idk, just some brushes I had, positioned them right, um played with the levels and brightness/contrast, duplicated it, gussain blur 3.0, set the top layer to Lighten, then I put like, a grey layer over it with the 12% opacity again just using a brush. Idk, they just sort of come out like that for me.
I havn't paid much attention to your art Rab, but it looks like you need to use the concept "Less is more" for your backgrounds.
