    I didn't know where else to put this tutorial, since it's just showing you how to make a brush... and.... yeah. e__e Oh well.

    This tutorial was made using CS2, but you should be able to do it with whatever version you have, it might be a little different but you'll be okay :3

    1) Make an 11 by 11 file (or larger or smaller, but around that size).

    2) Zoom into it until it's 1600%. On the top bar, you might have the star shape already out, but you might not. If you don't, load it. Select the shape that's a completely filled in star, not just the outline.

    3) Press D to set your colors to the default colors. Your main color should be black now. While holding down the alt AND shift key (to make a more "perfect" star), make a star by dragging your mouse out from the middle. Click in the middle first, and then hold down the two keys, or else it does the eyedropper tool if you hold down alt before you click. Make sure you're making a shape! If you're just making a path with the shape tool, change it so you're making a shape.

    4) Rasterize the layer... Go to Layer > Rasterize > Layer.

    5) Go to Edit> Define Brush Preset and name your brush whatever you want. I'll name my brush Tutorial Brush, but go ahead and make it whatever.

    6) Close your file without saving.

    7) Open up your file you want to make starry or whatever. I'm just going to make a new 500 by 500 file with a black background.

    8) Select the Brush Tool. Click on the brushes tab (or hit F5). The brushes menu should have popped up... if it didn't, go find it where ever it is o___o;;

    Now change your settings to this (you can mess around with it afterwards, but for now just change it like this):

    Check Smoothing too! ^__^ I suggest changing color and other dynamics to whatever fits your need... color dynamics just changes the colors so the stars are different shades of whatever color your choose, and other dynamics is just different opacitys. If you change color dynamics too much, you get really different colors, and that doesn't look that great all the time. But whatever. So now you should have a brush that looks like this:

    If it doesn't, you did something wrong. e___e;;

    Then use some other star/sparkle brushes to make a starry background ^__^ I use other star brushes that I downloaded... I only remember one place I got them from, and that was from these forums e___e;;: http://forums.gfxvoid.com/t-7888.htm (rabies star brushes, awesome :3) I don't remember where else I got my brushes, but one of the brushes is called agfxsparksetbrush1... If you know where you can get this brush, please tell me so I can find the link to download those ^__^ And I got some other star/sparkle brushes from places that I don't remember. Fah. I think if you look on the big resources list here: http://forums.gfxvoid.com/t-7349.htm You'll be able to find some nice brushes, including more sparkle/star brushes. Sorry if this tutorial wasn't that... helpful or anything, but you have to get creative with the brushes. XD Well, I hope you liked it anyways e____e
