    sry nor finished yet... push wrong buttom :P

    Hi Guys!

    This is my first tuturial, so dont be too strict with me :P
    Its only a background texture

    1) We start with a transparent layer about 500x500px, grayscales

    2) Fill the layer with clouds (filter=>render=>clouds)

    3) Mezzotint it (filter=>pixelate=>Mezzotint, short lines)

    4) Then use 2xRadial Blur (filter=>Blur=>Radial Blur)
    -radial
    -amount: 100
    -best quality

    5) Gaussian Blur , 3px

    6) Put the good old plastic bag on it (filter=>artistic=>Plastic Wrap)

    7) Polar Coordinates (filter=>distort=>P.C.) and use
    'polar to rectangular'

    8.) duplicate the layer 4x and turn two of them upside down (Strg+t)

    Now we have 2 parts with 2 identic layers
    I'll call them A1&A2 and B1&B2 from now on

    9.) Emboss A1 and B1(filter=>stylize=>Emboss)
    A1 : 290 degree, 10px, amount 100%
    B1 : 80 degree, 10px, amount 100%

    Uhm this tutorial seems to be very much so incomplete. Please upload pictures of it so we may understand it better or explain better.

    Thanks.

    So far that I did it get pretty much screwed up in the end. Youve get like 3 layers that gets unnecessary.

    Basic fact for people writing tuts-
    1.) No images and not a lot of people will read it
    2.) Use good grammer so the posh old lady down the street can understand it, some people cant understand dis srta shite so if yuu wnt ppeeeps to reed it den mek it so dey can k?
    3.) Go into great details so the 'lesser abled' PS users can easily pick it up.

    If you miss one of those out more likely than not your tut will die a bloody death, you did number two and not 1 and 3aswell so thats why your tut sucks frankly.
    You could have the best outcome in the world and without those 3steps your doomed.

    I didnt read it so i only just seen its your first :lol: Oh well my first 'proper' one had great details so thats no excuse!! *looks down on tut writer*

    I added another Polar Coordinates at the end because I assume it is a 'sphere".

    Yeah I think Ben's right...You should have at least a final result image so people can see if they actually want to do the tut...

    And I recently wrote my first tutorial here (under the member section)...

    My text shine tutorial

    I don't wanna brag :P but as you can see there are a lot of images and my grammar is good as far as I know (I'm dutch so I really can't help it :P)...

    I'm sorry for beeing to hard on you
