Something I made a while ago. I'm doing a digital painting out of it (although I work kinda slow :P) that's why I hade the gray shiat at the bottom and in the background.
Anyways, the tree to the left went shit, but I don't care so much about it. I want you to focus on the big tree anyway.

So, comments?

Wow Rabie that's really good. I love the detail you put into it, must've taken a little bit of time at least. The shading looks really good as well. I'm impressed with this one, good work.

The painting will of course be more detailed.

Thanks. Took me a few hours to draw it I believe.. The shadows and highlights aren't really put out well on the sketch, but I'll give you a sample of how the painting looks for the moment.

Yes, it is only in one color, but that's only how it looks now, it will of course not look like that later. It's just a technique that many uses.

And btw, my dad scanned my sketch at his work since I don't have a scanner at home. Their über ultra scanner made it 6000 dpi. Kinda large.

The painting is coming along awesome. With color it brings the shadows out even more, giving it kind of a deep forest, haunting kind of feeling. I like it, definitely looking forward to the finished product. I'd even order that as a print from PrintVoid.

I think I want the colors to be green, brown and blue, or something. Would be nice.
