Ahhh help!!

I recently downloaded C4D and when i extracted the files my pc stalled when i tried to open the installer, and i noticed that there a few files with very weird names like \/-+-\\/ and one is a 19mb system file and i cant delete them. Cant quaranteen them or anything. Ive scanned with 2virus scanners and theres nothing in them. It says it cannot read from the disk when i try to delete it?!?!?!

Anyhelp please because its worrying me what the ££^£"^$^$"$&%" it is...

lol.. system restore or just watch where u download ur stuff, also ctrl+alt+delete and go to process and look for unknown ones, end those and just try to delete them or move them from the source folder.

it'll most likely be a weird virus same maybe as i've got.. the thing is in my offline content and everytime i try to load my internet explorer it goes on this search thing... and loads pop-ups and also when ever i go on myspace it loads that instead

hmmm when i try to rename it it says:

"cannot rename file: select only one file to rename, or use Ms-DOS wildcards to rename a group with a group of files with similar names"

I cant do anything to it, delete big no, rename fuck no, open in notepad i aint doing that dick face...

Ive just checked the .rar and in there there is no such file?? so it must of changed itself either during or after the extraction, how the **** is it posssible for a file to do that :S And all the files that should be there aren&#39;t...

Ill do some research, and try to help.

For starters. Try to do a registry cleaner. If that dosen&#39;t work, do a system restore.

I&#39;ll edit this or reply, with more information.

EDIT: I didn&#39;t find a thing.

I would reinstall windows. They sound like some pretty bad viruses.

yeah i doubt a system restore would help this thing will ave probably disabled your restore, and deleted your ability to set back to factory settings too.. i still havn&#39;t found out how to fix mine i might make a topic in the morning, but right now i&#39;m going to bed
