Its the 1000th since america has gone into iraq, and i decided to do a quick vector peice to honor the soldiers lost over there. This is %50 of actual size, just so i dont blow up your connnections.
-
Sorry man but i dont really like it, the vector is hard to make out, the text doesnt go well with this solemn ocasion and there is too much negative space.
Keep trying and you can turn this into a great piece.

Yea the text suits a sci-fi movie. Not to honor the soldiiers Good idea to it , very good vector. I would brighten up the soldier a bit though.

Looks pretty cool! I like the font...
Nice one!
-
it looks cool but change the font and maybey add a darkish glow nothing which stands out to much round the render
-
Thanks guys, updated the text, still not happy with it. I might just write it on paper, and scan it in. Made the Vector bigger, and changed the bg a tad. a little more interesting. So, V2 here.

Might add a bg of the desert or something later, but for now im gunna wait for more responces.
-
i like it how it is man its empty and dark like it is a photo being taken at the break of sunrise in the desert gj plus im bias on any tribute thing for the military
-
Change the text and it will be better.
-
I think its kinda dark, but im a noob so i dont have much say lol. Maybe add some desert/sand color and darken it.
-
I really love this, the text kinda sucks balls, but its still good. personaly i like the first version. with the soldier smaller. and i really like how it is blacked out, you dont give the soldier just one face, representing every soldier that is serving in the military today. just my view on it.......i guess
Good job undertone
