OMGAWD!!!! its pretty cool.. i dont like the renders eyepatch thing.. it looks weird, that and the text , besides that its pretty good.

the render is nice, i like the BG, and yes the text looks bad, but it might look good if you place it on the bottom left corner of the sig

I think we've all made that sig at one point in our Photoshop lives. Same stuff different designer. I like your current a lot though!
