Looks cool...

But its VERY bland. You should actually do somethin with it. I have seen a lot of these posted and I would expect more variety. It is a very cool design don't get me wrong, but you should make a wp out of it or something to that effect. Just slapping it on a black bg is a shortcut that I believe you are above. Combine that one with another. What I am trying to say is Mix it up a bit. Add a bg at least. I think it looks cool as is but i think it can look about five billion times better if you were to add to it. Anyways sorry if i sounded harsh.

Alright i'll agree your a better render maker. I love how the tenticles whip out and where you put the text, man it just fits perfectly

The only mistake/bad part I see is at the bottom, the tenticles appear jaggedy. I know it's because of the material you uses but it still looks jaggedy

Well said, I don't think that is harsh at all - but something very particular to these kinds of renders.

The asymmetrical balance to it is actually quite good, it puts me in the mind of the opening scenes from the movie spiderman, with the spiderweb and how the text was placed - this time I think the text works a lot better than what I've seen, it matches the render, same color and follows the same direction as a couple of the lines - so it doesn't look out of place but actually part of it, so thats been done well.

I'll say thou, I'd like to see something more than a plain black background a well for these pieces - I wouldn't go ape-shit over it, but look at the lighting on the object and imagine that sort of light bouncing off a backdrop, fading to black giving it more depth. Anyway so far, I think you're getting the hang of the app itself and I think it's time to start pushing into doing something less random, because single object renders can and do get boring. Develop material application and atmospheres, work on stuff to complement the things you're rendering rather than just the render-object itself.
