I'm new here at GFX, but Ilove using ps and i wanted some constructive critism so i can hear on what i should do to improve my style/work. i would apprectiate it...

I looked at a tut for this and kinda messed around with it.

I made this one from the pic above...it looks like an icy cathedral or somehting

This one is cool i think

I'm not sure which one is better, I think this one is better because of the smokey wings.

This one i combine a couple of the above...and added a render of a knight.

What did you think, now that I finally got it up?
    ...with some help (thanks).

You can register in deviantart.com and put your works there (easy way) or find free server with url and enough space (I think harder, coz usually you have to pay for it)

The easiest ways are actually to go to either

Right i see where you're trying to go. But i'd try and stray from the filter techniques. Search for brushing techniques, how to create brushes, etc. Or - look at a peice of digital art.. and then replicate the style with filters. ( like i did with my abstract / grunge filter peice.

Main problems are filter , and the emboss / bevel / bad colours and tones. Work on them

First is the best... clean abstract, but it's flat. Work with brushes, colors. Maybe higher contrast? And quality of picture is average... some ideas are good
