Remains After Chaos - Go Away

I was unsure if I would put this here or in Non-Visual, but I ended up putting it here. A moderator can move it if he think it belongs in another forum.

I started this tune this morning and finished it in the evening. Starting a new one-man-band project called Remains After Chaos. I will be making death metal similar to the Swedish band Bloodbath.

Produced in Cubase SX 2.02. Following VST-plugins were used:
Drums: Drumkit From Hell 2
Bass: Trilogy
Guitar amp: Amplitube

And yes, it's me on the death vocals. :P I'm still practicing my growl, but I think it sounds ok so far.
The lyrics are kinda lol, mostly evil words like suicide and stuff. But that's how it's suppost to be! Yeah! They aren't very special, so I won't bother posting them here.

Its ok, but you really shouldn't stick with just yourself. Make yourself good at one thing, not everything. It will take away from the quality of the music you want to make. And there is more to death metal then just evil words. But hey thats you perogative not mine. But seriously you should join a band. And you might want to think about matching the tunes better and mastering the harmony of them. Its really really simple the tune you did, but i realize that its hard to do anything really complex when your a one man group. But seriously m8, work on that growl of yours, its to low to be understandable, which it has to be to a certain point imo. Your making a good start but don't stop there.

I'm already in a band, but it's not a death metal band. I'll stick with my own project for now. And I don't see how the fact that I play the instruments myself could lower the quality of the music. :S Playing instruments and writing music isn't the same thing at all, you know.
I don't really understand what you mean with "matching the tunes better and mastering the harmony of them". It's simple because I wanted it like this. I tried to get pretty much the same sound as the only pure death metal band I listen to. It's much easier to do complex stuff if you write all the music yourself. You can do whatever you want and you don't have to worry about band members not knowing what to do/that they aren't good enough. I just wanted this to be pretty simple, riff-based death metal. ^^
And with low, do you mean the volume/compression or do you mean that my voice is too low? It's really hard to record growl with my microphone since it's just a regular dynamic microphone, not a condenser microphone, so that is probably why.

Damn good start for a one-man-band project. Keep working on those growls and soon you'll develop your own sound. Looking forward to hearing more.

He sings for Opeth? I should check them out sometime... from what I've heard about them, they're not exactly as brutal as the stuff I usually listen to, but Mikael is one amazing fuckin singer.
