the render isnt bad, the text is OK, but please, please, change the stroke, no emboss or transprency please. put it to 1px black stroke.and blend in the original render, not a lot but just enough to make a diff. its not SIGN lol its SIG. not bad for your first one. try getting real good brushes (eg grunge, abstract etc etc) from http://www.deviantart.com and then practice with them.

Get rid of the border,
use a 1pixel black stroke instead,
Get rid of the duplicated render behind the main one,
Blend the original render with motion blur and gaussian blur,
get rid of the animation and stroke,
And it would be nicer

The twirl is very striking, and you should also blend the render... Get rid of the enlarged render, and also get rid of the border...
Use brushes instead of filters...

Actually I hardly use any brushes at all in my sigs. Try getting a little more vibrant colours in your sig ( more saturated colours? ). Try not to use tech borders when you're not very experienced in sig making.

Excatly and looks where that got you
Only joking man youre just annoying bitching about how bad peoples sigs are instead of helping them improve so i want to bitch back to you
