    It is very good for a first attempt, both of the pictures seem blurry. But you seem to have a grasp on color theory, which is vital :P The 2nd one especially, you used subtle colors which please the eye.

    Try to put more depth in to the flower though. Take into consideration of lighting, not everything in lighting has to do with lighter/darker shades of the same color. eg. Grass at night has blues in it, not only greens.

    yea they do look blury for some reason, i added a layer to brighten them up a bit maybe its that. i think im gonna buy a tablet b/c trying to draw with the mouse (and being left handed) doesnt work out too well for me .

    this may seem strange and a little off topic but i can remember when i was like 6 my mom bought me a tablet and a mp3 player (very erly stages of mp3 players ) but i had no clue what the tablet was so i took it back. im a little upset 11 years later.
