Phew, just the bark has taken me 3 nights, not all full of work, but so far about 5-6 hours off and on (with forum browsing, tv, msn, homework etc). Gunna work on the eyes, teeth and fruits next. After that ill go for the leaves then a bg, which i might render in terragen then paint after. Either way, im up for any and all sugestions that'll make this better.

Very cool man. I'm liking it, shape composition is awesome . LOts of emotion / mood coming out of this with the over emphasised shapes, try and incorporate more texture / less confusing light onto it though.

    Well done

actually, its just a 100 opacity brush, no brush tip changes, or anything. I just change the colour, and test it out on another image before doing it here on the tree. i prolly could have gone with a low opacity brush, and worked my way up, but when i started it i didnt think i'd layer it this much.

thanks guys ill make sure to finish it asap.
