Thought i'd try a new look on catalyst logo, if you haven't seen the old logo, its below.

I felt slogan was suitable for the name.

Thanks for taking the time to look at this. More stuff to be posted soon, been working on a few web development projects, find out more soon.

Also i'll make a sig for this logo soon.

I like the new look, but I also like the Glow of the old one... maybe a way to incorporate both into one? I dunno... I'm just a Noo-B. Haven't had my cherry popped yet. *Runs away crying...*

Heh nobody is really a noo-b in art, I quite liked the look of the glow in the old one aswell, I just felt the catalyst needed a makeover. I've had the same sig and avatar for a few months now aswell as logo. Thats a good thing in a way because it shows im not concentrating on my sigs like many other people. But every so often it needs updating. Thats a hint towards all members that make a new sig every day. There is no need. Try making proper art. Thats the end of my very very polite rant. Opinion expressed.

Well, yes there are such things as noo-b's in art... and I won't be updating my sig or logo... (well maybe the logo or avatar whatever it's called...) but as for my Noo-B-Ness... I am a tested, tried, and true and through NEWBIE! I can't even draw a porportional stick figure on paper... so I have no real artistic abilities. I am just someone who relies on the artistic abilities of the computer to put my ideas and imagination into a somewhat realistic form. Okie Dokie... I'll quit taking up space now. Looks good though. yeah the logo is pretty flash, but i dont like your chrome sig..
maybe its the font or something.

Hmm, i'm digging the design, and layout. Just the border i don't like... 'tis almost an overtone... but well done, 'tis just coloured nicely ^_^

I like the purple line round the edge - Slight variation looks sexeh =)

Methinks.. somehow. If you could put the font into perspective view aswell it'd look cool.

the new one loog alright but the angle looks odd imo still works though but maybe increase the opacity of the scanlines

:lol: I get it! Catalysts are things that speed up a chemical reaction! (thank god for learning that little tidbit in by n00by 6th grade science class this year )

Love the logo! I would suggest making a better bg though, i dont like the metally effect. No offence or anything, but it kinda looks like many overused metal effects in n00b sigs.
