    I keep opening it up and everytime it says something about me changing my drives or when I copy and paste a picture onto a new canvas, it turns black & white. It's default is on "Startup" and then I change it to "C - Drive"... that's the only drive I have. Someone told me to put it on my D: Disc Drive but I'm afraid that it will screw it up

    I ran the virus scanner (Norton) and I don't believe it's the firewall and no spyware that I know of. I re-installed, it is a legit version of PS.

    You probably have the image set to grayscale.

    i think it's image->mode->rgb

    Thanks, it worked and my drive problem is gone too.
