I got a call yesterday from some god awful long number, so I call it back and get this.
" 'Ello"
"Hi, who's this."
"who are you."
"I got a call from this number, who is this?"
"who is this"
"Listen bitch, either you start giving me answers or I start shooting hostages!"
...
no, wait that last part didn't happen. So anway, this guy gets on the phone and we go through another round of "no, who are you" until he goes "wait is this new york?"
"no"
"I was trying to call new york"
"oh, you got the wrong state, this is pennsylvania."
*click*
What the hell is that? They must have been welsh because I couldn't understand a god damned word the wife said. We actually had a 5 minute conversation but it was all her inchomprehinsible jabbering and me going "what?"
And what kind of phones do they use in the U.K. do you have to draw out a flight plan or something. How do you miss a state? Don't they use number systems in europe?
Resident father figure.

thats crazy............ europe phone #s are that wierd?
my phone # is this long: (***)-***-****
(***) the first 3 are the area code, everyone in my town has the same one
*** the second 3 are part of the actual phone #, but it seems that among my friends, many of them have the same #s. I know of 4 different ones of these for my area code.
**** the last 4 are random, and the major part of the phone #, but if your lucky, they are easy to remember. My nana worked for a phone company when my parents got a phone #, many years ago, so she managed to get us a really good phone #.
