I rightfully can't get a tattoo until December 6th of this year, because well, I turn sixteen then and the damn Kentucky state laws state that one can't get a tattoo until 16 WITH parents signature.
Since my eternal love for Powerman 5000 stays with me, and I know that the band won't be there forever, I threw out the idea of getting PM5K's band name tattooed on me.
So, looking through the covers of the albums and other designs that were infamous to many of the listeners, but yet were in clear sight, I've found the design.
It's called the Powerskull to many Powerfans worldwide.. and it's design has gone through many, many changes. Let me show.

It was fisrt seen on their Mega!! Kung Fu Radio album's front cover.. sort of. If you look closely to the top right, you will see it:

There's a more clearer one on the back:

When their double platinum selling album, Tonight the Stars Revolt! album came out, they started with their apocalyptic lyrics and songs while wearing self-made spacesuits to show.. pretty individual. You can probably assume that the Powerskull has changed in this album, and it did:

In 2001, the Anyone for Doomsday? album was a failed launch, Spider decided not to release it seeing how he thought it sounded too much like TTSR!.. but some albums esaped destruction.. and the cover of the album got out.

    This, is that cover:

Being fed up with the endless chants of 'Bombshell! Bombshell!' after each show they did, they finally had no choice and do the bastard. Bombshell is the hit song known by a lot and is the theme to the wrestling pair, the Dudley Boyz.. whadd'ya know? A limited edition of AFD? was released in 2003:

Also in 2003, PM5K decided they wanted to make a brand-new album from scratch, and came up with transform.. The Powerskull really didn't change in this one from the AFD? 2003.. but you can still see it on the flag underneath the Powerman 5000 logo at the top:

Going to South Korea in 2005, PM5K decided to release an EP there.. bastards.. and only U.S. fans and others around the world had to go on eBay.. it's what I did. This cover brought back the M!!KFR design:

Being confused on what I'm going to get a tattoo of, I've decided that the Powerskull is the way to go. Yeah, I know.. the band won't be around forever.. but the music and albums will always be here. I guess the Powerskull signifies how the music changes and in return, the design changes as well.

So, here's my design on what I've came up with. IT'S NOT DONE... I need to color it still.

    Whatcha think?

P.S. I don't care if you guys think I have an obsession with the band.. it's more. Haha.

As for PM5K i like them, not as much as you. I got thier TTSR CD when it came out. and i had never heard of them b4 that. recently i have read a few things here and there from both older and newer CDs.

ne ways i really like the tattoo, IF its kindda small ....i dont mean tiny i just mean dont take up ur entire back with it. i think it would look good on ur bicept or caf. where are you gonna put it?

YOu should get something that means something, something meaningful, that's what I'm doing, im going to get one pretty soon. Maybe my grandmother's name or something, something meaningful y'no? But it's your body, your wish, nice design otherwise.
