I did this for a friend of mine. He had covered his old board in stickers, and decided he wanted a new look instead. So I sprayed it, using ultra flat black and hot pink. You may recognize the stencil from a previous painting I had done. He liked it so much that he wanted me to do another.

The paint is still wet in this picture, so ignore the bright spots on the pink.

ace, some bolder / thicker / bigger drippy lines would be cool, or were they not deliberate? XD

they were stenciled on, i may redo them. But they're actually pretty big. After I took the picture I realized it's kind of hard to convey just how large it is. Much bigger than it looks in the photo.

Well, since most snowboards are around 150-160 cm long, you would have to put it into proportion.

I might have used a few more colors, but the stencil came out nicely! The only artwork I've done to my snowboard gear is when I took a Sharpie to my helmet. I bought it 3 years ago, when I was young and naieve. That's why it is blue. Haha. And when you look at it thorugh yellow-lens goggles, it looks purple. So I drew aliens and robots and sasquatches all over it.

Post numero 100! I'll have to make a new sig to commemorate this occasion...

    Back to topic now.
