This is a short ghost story i did for my Coursework, its pretty bad but dakmn 3pages is long for me. Im very lazy when it comes to school and dont normally do itnever mind 3pages, but i have done all my other English work so why throw the last bit away?
Basically its about some corridor thats gay and haunted Lol
If you read it all you get a cookie, and any fags who try to copy it for their coursework, you will only get us both failed, which i dont care about but mroe likely than not you need GCSE's in your life
The Hidden School
For Lewis 16 and Beth 15, brother and sister it was just a normal day at boarding school, they had already had their breakfast and attended their first two lessons, English and French. It was break time and they were doing the usual; sitting at the benches near the old sports hall, Beth was daydreaming wondering what was down the ‘forbidden corridor’. Through a large, rusty gate which had enough padlocks to stop the police was a dark dirty corridor, there was nothing different about it than usual but nobody had ever been down there and people were forever talking about what was down there and why it was so forbidden. The janitor; Bill Oakley a very old yet kind man would unlock the gate, lock it behind him then go down the dark corridor making sure nobody followed him, Beth did not know where he went as nobody had ever been down there, she had heard some rumours that it was an old part of the school that got shut down because it was dangerous and a young girl lost her life there. She was very curious as to what was actually down there but there was no way she could get down there and she was to scared in case she ever got caught, attempting to go down that corridor was the worst rule you could break in school, even talking about it was a serious rule. It was the latest craze in the school, people were always arguing about how close they got to going down there but nobody was ever believed.
The school building itself was a very old yet large mansion with a mysterious look to it; it had previously been a Prince’s house but it was very hard to see that now, it was split into 2 halves. One that looked refurbished and quite attractive and modern on the inside and the other half was the old, forbidden half that nobody had a clue about.
It was close to the end of break when Beth noticed that the padlocks were not actually locked for once, she whispered to Lewis who insisted they go down there. Beth was very sceptical and scared but curiosity got the best of her and she weighed up the situation and decided to go down. They didn’t dare tell anyone where they were going in case word got around and any teachers found out. They both said they were going doing coursework and walked off the opposite way as to not attract any attention, they then waited round the corner for everybody else to go somewhere else. When they saw it was empty they swiftly walked into the corridor, Lewis was very excited while Beth was very nervous but she knew it was to late to go back now. Walking down the corridor making sure they don’t make too much noise in case the janitor was around, the corridor was the same layout as the modern half of school, the only difference was that it dark and all the doors are locked. They tried to look through the windows but they were full of grease and dirt, they were stained that bad there was no chance of seeing through them. The corridor seemed to get darker the more they walked down, after 3minutes of solid walking it also seemed to be endless. Just as they were thinking of giving up and going back they saw a door on the left that was left open.
Lewis popped his head round to see if there was anybody there and noticed that there was a light on in the corner but nobody there, they both walked in with Lewis going first. The room was pretty much a standard old classroom with a blackboard at the front and approximately 20 individual wooden desks and stools facing the front, the only thing to be seen apart from the board and the desks were lots of dirt and grime, and a pile of books, turning yellow with age. Lewis searched through them and he noticed they are all the same as each other, they are all dark blue with ‘Diary’ engraved on the front and the side, he called Beth over and she began to read them quickly, scanning with her eyes. She picks 2 of them up, the ones that seem to have more writing in and takes them with her reading as they carry on walking down the corridor. Another four minutes walking and after reading the first 2pages in each diary she noticed they are the exact same, just in different writing and the words are put slightly different, they both describe the fact that a new teacher named Mr. Biggly has joined the teaching staff, there was also a large entry about 3 class mates that went missing the same day. She told Lewis and they were both shocked but didn’t really think much of it and carried on checking all the doors along the corridor. Just like the last classroom they found it was on the left, with the light in the same dirty corner, the same books in the same place, but yet again they didn’t think much of it. Beth left the 2 diaries on the front desk and picked the first two on the new pile and takes them with her, reading the first entry she finds out that 15 students went missing in an English class with the new teacher Mr. Biggly. Yet the teacher was okay, he said he could not recall any part of the event, then she noticed the date, 3days after the other diaries said Biggly joined the staff 27/03/1966. Then it hit her that was the date, 27/03/2006, 40years after the event. She was getting quite freaked out and scared but decided not to tell Lewis because she thought he may want to go back, but Beth really did not want that because she was so scared of being caught by any teachers.
On the fifth entry of the second diary 30/13/1966 she reads that there were only 14 people left in the school, Biggly, 2other teachers and 11 students. After reading that Beth was terrified and told her brother who felt scared as well but he put on a brave face for Beth and casually told her it’ll just be a story. As much as she wanted to believe that, she could not. They came to a T-junction after what seemed an endless amount of time walking, they were both way to busy thinking about what they just read to care about which way they went, a short walk and another T-junction, and the same again. They decided to calm down and stop walking for a few minutes so they just sat down on the floor, it was very awkward as they were not talking but that was the least of their worries.
As they were sat there thinking they both heard a very faint, high-pitched cry that sounded like it was coming from a young child or a baby. That was too much for them both; they just looked at each other got up and ran back the way they came. Then they came to the T-junction again and because they were not thinking when the came to them neither of them had a clue which way to go, this just made them more scared and worried. Choosing off pure instinct they ran in any direction hoping it to be the right one.
After running for 5minutes not having a clue where they were going they came to a dead end with a room at the end, it had no door so they decided to go in, it was a dark room with dirt all over the walls and some ripped sofas to sit down on. They sat down and though things through. As they sat down they heard another cry, it sounded the exact same as the other cry, just this time it was louder. This went through Beth and she just burst into tears as she was so scared. This time the crying never stopped; it would end for a few minutes then come back even louder. Beth and Lewis could not take this anymore, they both put on brave faces and decided to go and see where the crying was coming from, they had no other choice but to sit in that room all waiting for it to stop.
They went back down the corridor following the noise as it got louder and louder, neither of them had spoke since leaving the room as they were both to busy putting a brave face on for the other. As they came to another dead end with another room at the end, they both decided that is where the crying was coming from, Beth asked Lewis “what are we going to do?†as she did the faint lights that were keeping the place alight suddenly flashed on and off, they carried on to do so for a few seconds every minute leaving the place in pitch black for a few seconds. Brother and sister just stood there not knowing what to do until Lewis plucked up the courage to go into the room that the crying was coming from, as he fiercely slammed open the door the crying stopped, the lights returned to normal as though neither of them happened. To calm Beth down Lewis tried to make a joke out of the situation and imply it was all a joke, Beth just gave him a worrying look with no hint of a smile at all.
That is when Lewis noticed a gate in a corridor next to the room where the crying was coming from; it had a sign next to it saying ‘exit’. He pointed to the sign, Beth nodded in agreement and they went for the gate preying it was the same gate they came from. As Beth entered the room the door slammed shut behind her and the lights went back to their flickering state. At that point Beth let out a scream and ran for the gate as Lewis was forcing the gate open, after a fierce battle with the locks the door opened and they both walked into the ‘real’ school. With nothing on their mind but relief they just looked at each other and hugged one another, the look in their eyes said it all, it’s over, they made it out.
They walked into their lesson as nothing had happened, they were both quiet but nothing to give anything away as they agreed nobody would say a thing as though the whole thing was a nightmare. The teacher or classmates did not even question where they had been never mind suspect they had been down ‘the corridor’.
For the rest of that day they continued as nothing had happened, not a word about it to each other or anyone else, there was the odd look of relief again. It was the next day when something drastic happened, it was during the assembly, the head teacher was making an announcement about a new member of staff, a name that Beth and Lewis remembered very well, Mr. Biggly…

.................................................. .........what..........................the........ ..................... the story is weired... seems like you didnt finish it.......... if i wer you i would've finished it for sure....... also the T-junction and 'the corridor' seems very familiar to me..... i think i read those things in one of the fear street books by R.L. Stine. He is a pretty good writer of scary books for children. i read ghoosebumps and stuff when i was younger. lol. but anyways... what did u get on the story?

I'm Lazy Lol
As soon as some action was going to start, i though thats enoh bye

Yup, you ruined it ( imo ) by them continiung and exiting the corridor. If they would've found something .. AFER finding the diaries. Then it would've gripped me more. The ending was good, but it ended too suddenly ( i know it's a cliffhanger but still ) .
There were some lines that didn't seem right aswell, overuse of the same words n' shizzle
