I kno the texture doesn't fit quite well, and the planet ain't that good, but I liked the overall view.

Overall it's nice. But the plan is carried out very badly. Sorry .. but it's true.

The texture isn't even coloured, it lacks depth. The effects look quite bad and fake. And why not post a refined peice of art? Is it still a w.i.p ? =/

The texture - It's very flat and blurred, you have the planet bang in the centre of the peice which is very bad, Also huge planets can sometimes ruin peices unless you know how to make a very realistic one, with an awesome texture.

The background - Looksl ike filter clouds, with some basic colour. Maybe 1-2 layers, certainly does not create a feeling of space, or look like fire. Look almost... .. i'm not sure but not firey and blazing hot, as it should..

The Stars - Add a little variation, they're in clustered, not spaced almost perfectly. Bright stars cancel out smaller stars,... and you would not be ablke to see any close to the planet. Do you ever see stars near to the moon? Nay.. it's too bright. light pollution etc..


Just spend a little more time, and plan ^_^

Muaah it looks like a faace!

Stars are not pixie dust, try to make it a bit more uneven in size, some should be big, some should be small.

Also the 'comet's look like they were just duplicated, if they are heading in the same direction then it would be fine, but since they aren't the lighting is very uneven. Look at the comet to the right, it should've been at least rotated a bit to the left :P

well, i like the simplicity of it, it doesn't look all that real, but it doesn't look that fake either. I think the colors flow well also. But the planet texture is a bit bad and the suns or stars or what ever bould have a more realistic feel to it if it had a texture as well.
