A couple notes:

• The MAYA logo will be vectored....i'm waiting for their people to send me a hi res version
• The double buttons won't be like that, they lower ones will be dropped down on mouseover to display something, as of yet that's undecided
• I know the size is off, we'll make that smaller when we need to

any ideas? Also, i'm not stuck on the bg being that off-white, i might go more towards a white or softer color.

You really shouldn't need a hi-res to vector that.

You're running into the same problems i addressed with the old buttons. the font is too big for the space. the colors are...unrealistically oversaturated and light. I don't know what else to say. the whole thing looks ham handed. From what you told me of the company a bright playful design would be best...but this kind of crosses the line from fun into juvenille.

Sorry for the very negative rant... I hope it comes through that I'm trying to help the best I can, and not attack you.

No offense taken. Our meeting is wednesday, so i'll throw those ideas out.

There were two ideas for the design, and i'm the only person who liked the other one. We were going to use a flower, and have it grow out of the corner, with the links branching out.


They didn't like the flower idea only because the person who came up with the idea (my buddy nate) can't draw, and his mock-up was atrocious.

Its a little plain IMO and the buttons are pixilated at the top. I really dont know what else to say. I think some paint spalshes would look nice. Maybe if i knew what the site was about, i could input some more.

maybe you can make a box with some text or something like that, i like the colour in it...it's pretty original good job! But i also must agree with vermilion
