realistic lava?

I was thinking of making a sig with this as a render


(Demon from D2)

and having like a lava/burning background, with maybe a nice texture on it and some flame text to go with the theme, but i have no clue how to make realistic lava...imma noob, so any pointers??

Try the lava effect in the background section i think it is.

Basically its just waves with a few settings.

lol i made a sig w/ that render!! RAWR :angry: try using a dark colored bg like black a lava bg doesnt work nice ill post my sig when i get home so you can see wut i mean =P

btw you need to read a cutting tut mang =\ that cut you made is really sketchy =\

I'm pretty sure thats cuz its on a white background, he couldve done it a little bit better but it changes based on the background color, and im pretty sure most of us here know that lava, is definetely not white
