Photoshop - Transperant TGA files...

How do you save TGA files on Photoshop CS2 so that they are transperant?
I made a tag for Counter Strike and I need it to be transperant. The way I've heard to do it is to click "alpha channels" but i cant because its just not clickable. Anyone know how?
