Windows adopting into the apple?

From the looks of it, windows is getting more and more like apple. AH!

So, with all the new products coming out lately, do you think windows is trying to copy the apple?

I really think windows shouldn't even bother. I mean windows xp is a solid OS, with minor problems, and it's not like it needs all that much PC power, like vista will.

The simple reason behind Mikeysoft making Vista is because they can, and they will also makes lots of money from it. My Dad currently has the vista Beta 3 on his desktop I personnaly think it's the best OS I have seen yet. Although it does seem thats its main upgrades are just on graphics.

And I dont think they are "trying" to look like apple, I think they are trying to look more stylish and with apple being the best looking OS out there it's likely there will be some similarities.

If they clean up the look it'd be awesome It's so basic... not even decent to look at. I probably wouldn't use Apple, unless i had a PC aswell because of the limited applications compared to windows. . . + gaming :P

So, whats the point of making it look good, if you have to spend MORE money, to make your pc to be able to run the OS. When the os itself will brake your wallet. They already started on the next OS after VISTA!

In my opinion why fix it or make a new one, if it ain't broke?

XP is fine as is.. Vista is just rediculous.


I also would like to see, an operating sytem, where I didn't have to use my mouse and k/b, I want to use my hands, touch screens, maybe a glove control. Why not just keep what we have WHICH WORKS FINE! And make something revolutionary? Like nintendo is doing!

No matter what OS you are running, bugs happen. They are known as "ghosts" by programers. A program could be perfectly fine but occasionally it will have an error for no obvious reasons.

Thats why there are SP's and Patches. Plus, if you not a FUCKING idiot, you won't get a virus.

Yes although thats a plus, you can't buy parts from other people when it breaks, you have to buy from apple.

EXACTLY. That&#39;s exactly why Windows has lots of viruses.
