Ok this is one of my first graphics on photoshop..

And here's some random pic I thought it looked pretty cool.

This is a planet, I kinda had fun with, yeah I know the background's kinda plain. I was new to
    Photoshop when I made this.

Yeah, this is my avatar! I thought this one was fun! but I don't remember how I made the background.

Please give your oppinions! ^_^ But please don't be too hard.

Good fooling around if you ask me. I think your ideas are great and you will soon be great too if you learn how to make things the way you wish they looked. The hardest part about photoshop for most is taking an idea and perfecting it. And most ideas are possible, keep learning.

Seems like you're going in the right direction and experimenting. When making a digital piece, you should remember certain things:
-How does it appeal to the viewers?
-Does it have a theme or topic?
-Does it show your own style?
    -Does it mean anything?

Since you're new to the digital art community, look through works of other artists in a certain field of art. See what they've done and find what style you like or what type of art or themes interest you.

    Hope I helped a bit.

Don't worry, all you guy's tips did help! ^___^.
And yeah, I was fooling around with different tools on Photoshop.
I'm still a rookie with that program, I just got it last October(my birthday). I just thought they looked kinda cool for random whatever you call it. And I have been viewing other people's work, and let me tell ya! one of them... I don't know how to say this, but, it just inspired some idea in my mind.

Your art is very random. The second one is the nicest, the colours are quite nice. With a bit of tutorialing and a bit of direction you'll be a damn good artist. Just out of interest which art piece inspired you?

Well not exactly an art piece, but, on a forum I thought it was awsome how some people's sigs looked. So I asked what program they used and I got the program(PH) and created my own sigs.
Then I realized it could do more, so I toyed with different stuff.. and came up with the graphics you guys see here. lol
Now I use tutorials for different stuff, but the only thing I don't usually use tuts for is backgrounds for my characters I make up.
Like the pic you see in my sig... that's one of my chares I played with in Photoshop.

Gonna say I like the second one best. Nice experimentation, if you want to make an image abstract, make sure to leave out things like aeroplanes (citing your first image). If you want the image to be about something (like the planet), make sure the background supports it. A stellar background would have done well.
