the picture is about a little child who did a knock down. the photo was took just after he Knocked the other kid.

the image had some noise, im new on photography, so i dont know how to get rid of the noise, and neither how to use all my camera properly.

Well I'm not much of a photographer, but from what I see as a viewer, the subject of the photo doesn't seem to interest me. I also think that the quality of the photo needs some improvment. The one thing I DO like about this photo is the lightning. What type of camera do you use?

First of all I want to compliment you for using people in your photo. Almost no one here does that, which is very boring.

    Ok, some technical criticism.
The photo seems to have been taken without a tripod, and therefore it has a little motion blur. It has nothing to do with low quality, like HostilPenguin said, it is just motion blur from holding the camera. Try to avoid zooming too much when you photograph without a tripod. Just a little blur can ruin a really good photo. The blurriness comes from too long exposure time, but the shutter speed and white balance you used for this picture is great, although the shutter speed could be a little lower. Too bad you didn't have a tripod with you (buy one&#33! :]
Anywayz, because of the zoom, you got a nice blurry background. That is great because it gives much more depth, and it helps the viewer concentrate on the boy.
Also, I don't find the grain disturbing. And there is very little grain, so it doesn't matter at all. I could in fact see some more grain, since I like grain in photos. Gives a better film feeling.

And now for some artistic criticism!
The composition here is great for a beginner. You didn't place the boy in the dead center AND you have a nother person in the background, which makes it much more interesting.
The lighting is pretty boring, since you took in in some sport hall, where the light comes from the roof. That's often a problem with spontaneous photography; the lighting can be very boring.

I can give you a great tip for achieving great light for portrait photography! Just find a room with only one window, or cover the other windows with something, so that minimal light gets through. Turn off all the other light in the room, place your model so that the light hits his/her face from the side. Voilą! Awesome lighting without a studio.

Anyways, I hope you found my ciritisicm useful. Keep it up!

Edit: If you REALLY want to get rid of the grain, try the program Neat Image (http://www.neatimage.com). There is a guide for it in this forum.

im using a Canon EOS 300D Digital, and yeah, i didn't use a tripod, im having one soon :P i want a good one though, i really appreciate the critics, i take good and bad critics. they makes me grow as a photographer. and i had great problems with the grain on that shot, because they where my first shots, i didnt know what was the ISO and stuff, i was using 1600 :P.
actually that photo has been already processed on neat image :P, so you can imaging how grain it was, i've been taking rid of that problem though.

well thats all for now, thx for the comments. both of you =-]
