Looking at what you have here, it seems like you're experimenting. This is exactly what you should be doing since you're new to photoshop. Keep experimenting and you'll learn a lot about the tools and functions of photoshop. Judging by your sig, it looks like you go through tutorials so keep doing that aswell.
