so just a quick SIG is a summer camp (it stands for Summer Institute for the Gifted) yeah i know it's sounds really dorky, and it is, but it's not summer school or anything. basically you get to take classes on anything you want from graphic design, to fencing, to quantum physics. overall it's pretty damn cool.
anyway i'm in one of the graphic design classes, and one of our first big assignments is to design a new logo for SIG, (the current one sucks) this is my (mostly) finished project, if you give me some feedback on by 7 AM tomorrow, i might be able to change it in time for turning it in, but even after that C+C would be apreciated.
(note: idealy it would go on a greyish or black background so the lighting effect could show up, but it can be simplified for buisness cards and such)

Don't like it. It's too...bleh.
Judging by your quality of work, i'm assuming you didn't make your sig either...
if you did...
WHERE'D ALL YOUR CREATIVITY GO?
The font is bad, the shield is blurry, the colors suck, and the lightbulb doesn't go with the theme of the camp. (From what it sounds like...)

yeah it does, the camps is all about academics, and nurturing ideas, well thats what they advertise it as anyway.
and yes i did make my my sig
.

you have to do soemthing with that font. its pretty simple and doesnt express something :S... im sorry, my advice is to creat a new one

Im with these guys.
I'd say forget this project, and just keep making more.
For Crit:
The text needs some AA, and the logo makes no sense...at all.
The whole thing is blurred, and the gradiant could have been alot smoother.
