This is my colored pencil drawing that I drew from a Superformance ad before clean-up, sloppy eh?

This is it after clean-up in GIMP...

Was this from a picture on a digital camera or something?

    You should try a scanner.

This looks amazing. I want to see more....now.

Wow, this is an incredible drawing. Post-cleanup looks like a professional concept drawing. Are you going to do that for a living?

BTW I applaud you for using GIMP. I know not everyone can afford Photoshop and it's nice to see people using legal alternatives.

Well I actually have a *cough cough cough bootleg cough cough cough* but I have really grown to like the GIMP's interface. It really is capable. Thanks for the comments btw.

hmmm interesting. still, it's cool. I personally hate GIMP's interface, but that's me. I'm lucky enough to have an uncle who gave me photoshop for my birthday.

Yeah I just got a copy of Illustrator 10 but I haven't had time to mess with it. That gradient mesh tool is supposed to be awesome so I'm looking forward to that, it's just a chore to learn a new program. That's probably why I haven't really done much in PS either.

Yeah I tried the GIMPshop thing but it kept doing strange things(ie windows popping up for no reason) It just seemed a bit unstable.
