Pink floyd, one of the best progressive rock bands in history. name derrived from two blues artists that syd and waters liked. Syd was kicked out due to his acid problem, which caused him to butcher his stage shows and fumble practice/recordings. eventually gilmour was brought in originally as a live guitarist, then eventually a full-time member.
