Lets get on topic here. If you want a list of 'safe hosts', read this thread.

The background looks good, although (as you stated), the quality is kinda low. The outer glow on neo isnt working - I think you can do something better with that. 5/10

Check this out Mr. FatGuy, and anyone who wants to make a matrix bg

Open a file that isnt supoprted in word, so that all you see is a bunch of random symbols and characters.

Copy a bunch of them and open photoshop.

Click the vertical text tool and make sure its going down

    Paste

pick a nice green font color, and a cool looking font and Volah you have a matrix type bg here is an example of one i did a couple weeks ago when i started ps.

imho that 2nd version of matrix thing looks like shit...

bigfat ur wallpaper aint bad , however the render isnt blended like it should be.how i would do it is...

ctrl click the neo layer and select it.... then select ur layer with the textish style... ctrl c.. ctrl v , there u have a copy of the text in the shape of neo...make that top layer, go back to neo layer and desaturate, then put the colour levels up a bit so he looks greenish.
go to ur text layer and change the layer type to multiply or overlay, you may have to feather it a bit so it doesnt look dodgy.

    hope i helped

ok, heres a way to make a really really awesome matrix effect. look for a tut for it, i may write one, but basically its verticle grain, glowing edges, neon glow, then outer glow i think. somethin like that, it comes out very well.
