The background doesn't fit with the foreground, it seems very flat, very lacking in depth. I haven't played that game.. is it good?
For a wallpaper, it's too hard on the eyes, also Keep at it !

Looks pretty nice, I like the background. Agree with Dale on the FG and BG not fitting too well, even though it's blended in. Maybe you could go the other way and try making the render blue-ish to contrast with the BG, instead of blending it in. Also to attempt to fix the lack of depth as Dale mentioned, you could try blurring some lower layers and sharpening upper ones.

Still aside from those flaws it's still pretty good, primarily the BG on its own.

I really like the bacground of this one, but the model sorta ruins it all, maybe
desaturate it a bit to make it blend better with the colors? As Dale said, it
could use a bit more depth.

Arr there's just too much going on for my taste. If the render is supposed to be the "main attraction", then there're just too much things going on in the background. If you want the background to be the main attraction then take the render out :P. It's not too bad actually. Just could be a lot better.
