    Default Zelda wallpaper (wide)

It's one of my first, probably the first I will keep. All the images used obviously aren't mine. Crap brushing was done by me, but at least I can say I didn't have to download any brushes for it. My only other problem with the wall is the sword; the outline from the 1 px stroke really messed that up, only improving other parts of the layer such as Link's hair. I guess I could make a layer out of the stroke and erase the only the sword's outline. Bah, why didn't I think of it before? Haha. Guess I'll make an update later, but first I'd like to see what else I could improve on.

actually very well done. looks pretty pro to be honest. a little blending however, can go a long way. maybe by blending the feet/furthest parts you can create the 3d effect, and give the wall paper some depth? maybe the green/black gradient is a little harsh. the colours are also a little boring. both greens are slightly bluish, which makes them feel very watery and quiet. link on the otherhand is very very vibrant and alive. you can either totaly contrast this with very dead colours like reds/sandy colours, desaturated colours, or you can totaly beef up the vibrant colours by recreating them in the bg.

    keep it up.

I agree with undertone, som eminor things like.. the black to green gradient, i think that should be a little larger, more black, less green. A little more dpeth on the green areas would be good aswell. I like the painted render, without that it would kinda look amateur. But for some reason i like the drop shadow on the centre "bar" also. Layout is good, colours are easy to look at, nice

    Updates. Thanks for the comments.

    or

I followed undertone's suggestion about the color for the second one. Now I can't decide which of the two looks better. Or neither perhaps? I'm still not great at deciding on the right colors, as was probably obvious.
