very, very filter whored. i like the concept, but the execution is very weak. theres nothing wrong with filterwhoring, but when its blatent i tend to dislike the image. there is also very little focus within the image, it just kinda jumps around with little point. keep workin man, this could have been alot better.

Agreed with undertone. At least blur some stuff to achieve some depth. I'm assuming that was plastic wrap, I've been there before. You definitely want to avoid overusing filters. Only time I think a filter's acceptable is when it's hard to tell that they've been used, pretty much like undertone said (in case you don't know, try out 'fade filter...' (shift+ctrl+F) and play with blending modes and opacity levels. good way to address the filter overuse problems if you just can't get away from them). Also, though I'm no expert at colors myself, your color choice appears to be pretty random. Try looking for some stuff on color theory (google, even) if you need help on that.

i would say work on lighting. those are planets right? if you are using Photoshop, use the 3d transform maybe, or lighting to make the planets feel like planets and not paper cut-outs. depth would be great too (The blur that was mentioned)

Thanks for the advice, made this thing three years ago. Haven't done much since then.
