    Monochromatic is generally viewed as a flaw as it's extremely difficult to make one that looks good (to me and most people I believe). That means it's too green, and lacks depth partly due to that. Did you colorize the stock? Try it without that, it tends to look better with the original colors. And then the background, go for multiple colors if possible. Google color theory for some good multicoloring tips (complementary, tertiary colors, ect.) if interested. And then the text. Keep it as simple as possible, try to severely limit the use of layer styles or avoid them altogether. And most of the time it looks better with multiple text layers (i.e. HALOwhitefish) or something that would make effective use of the space created by the words. Keep at it.

    The render looks roughly cut out, and isnt blended very well either, thats all i can really think of.
