Default Help, Brushes won't automatically load

I hear all this hoopla about just dragging your downloaded brushes into the Brush folder, and opening back up PS and it will already be loaded. Whenever I do this, it's NOT automatically opened, but in fact, i would have to load them all manually. I know that i am putting them all in the correct folder, which is the Brush folder , which is in the Presets folder. The PROBLEM is that PS is not automatically loading my brushes. Please somebody, give me a suggestion. Thank youi.

you will have to load it manually the first time around. The auto-detection hoopla just means that when you do load the brush by clicking on the little right-pointing arrow - it'll be in the list of available brushes. So yes, you will have to manually load the brushes into the brush editor or whatever the first time around - but PS should save this setting and the brushes should still be in the main brush list when you start up PS next time around.

Hope this solves the confusion for you!
