    Default Some Recent Work

As you may have guessed from the title, here is some of my more recent work (a few months ago at the latest). I use both 3ds max and Photoshop. Most of the work is practice, one or two is work-in-progress, and one or two is complete. I realize a lot there, but try to look at all of it! It is ordered from oldest to newest.

    [3ds max] - iPod
    http://www.vsupernus.com/jack/ipod.jpg - Lighting practice.

    [3ds max] - Golf Ball
    http://www.vsupernus.com/jack/gball.jpg - Mostly for fun/practice.

[3ds max] - Photo Manipulation in which I added a gun to a Lamborghini.
http://img172.imageshack.us/img172/2...rghini6pg9.jpg - I created the gun, the rest was the stock image.

[3ds max] - Arm of the Terminator
http://www.vsupernus.com/jack/arm4.jpg - Modelling practice. Maybe I'll add onto it sometime.
    http://www.vsupernus.com/jack/arm1.jpg - detail 1
    http://www.vsupernus.com/jack/arm2.jpg - detail 2

[3ds max] - Office Scene (work in progress)
    http://img143.imageshack.us/img143/7198/10kg1.jpg - It'll be awhile before I finish.
    http://img176.imageshack.us/img176/7003/t8sd7.jpg - detail 1
    http://img141.imageshack.us/img141/7628/detail4sh3.jpg - detail 2
    http://img142.imageshack.us/img142/7198/detail5gv0.jpg - detail 3
    http://img144.imageshack.us/img144/1236/detail6nw7.jpg - detail 4

[3ds max, Photoshop] - Halloween Contest Entry
http://img88.imageshack.us/img88/255/entryix7.jpg - The theme was scary movies and I picked the Saw series (my favs).

You're extremely talented, I've always wanted to get more experienced in 3d modelling, but C4D isn't that great for modelling and I could never get my hands on a copy of 3DSM, but I digress. Great job with detail, I love the Terminator arm, amazing detail work. Your design is so intricate, I simply love it. Great job, and keep it up.

Thanks for kind words guys! It's much appreciated.

Illegal - Although I do suggest finding a copy of 3ds max (because obviously I've become a 3ds max fanboy ), you should know it has a very steep learning curve. It does for most anyway... And about the Terminator arm, thanks The modelling took around 18 hours. It probably shouldn't have taken me that long, but it was quite the learning experience.
As for Cinema4D's modelling capabilities, it should suffice. C4D is decent, I just like 3ds max better. I'm not quite sure why.. I guess for the same reason that 3ds max is one of the more widely used 3d packages (at least among professionals). It definitely has the majority of plug-ins, so there's plenty of things to add on and change. Possibly to bring you hope if you can't find a copy of 3ds max, here's one of the better things I've seen made with C4D:

So, it can create great things obviously if used correctly, but again I prefer my max.

Illegal: What are you talking about? C4D not good for modelling? It's all about skill. With skill you can do everything. I mean, there are people who can sculpt extremely realistic people and animals in SAND, so...
