first real animation attempt

heres my first real animation sig without using a tut like with the rain one i made aaaages ago.. its only simple and i cant get the speed right but..



oh and i dont mind if you say its totally crap

Well, at least you can animate since your ImageReady doesn't claim it's unable to Elmo(see my topic in Graphics Discussion for those of you thinking, "WTF"). But it looks nice. It just seems kinda weird...It could be cooler if something happened within the blue thing...

its totally crap! no jk jk dude. pretty good. the animation is definetly below par lol, but i like the tech part. my only real problems are, 1: use different brushes! i see about 4 brushes in there(im including all the lines at the right as one) and 3 of them i know from the crazys brush sets. get creative. on my tech i usually mix 6 different sets to get decent effects. also, on the part that has your name, i like the little border thing but its messed up on the lower right hand corner.

Being creative is never crap.. as your first one I'm sure you were just focusing on making it work and getting it done than the design and feel to it like my first attempt at animation which is no better than yours, infact I think yours is better :lol: ... I'd like to see you add some animation to the sig you use .. maybe something subtle like a few fairy dust floating around in a swirl like motion in the blue render object. just a thought.

yeah i was just bored and thought i might as well make a 5min animation, thanks for the suggestions but i dont really know how to do alot of animation..

oh and yeah i do need to get more brushes lol

yeah, i really should have spent more time on it - usual sigs take me like 45-1hr 15 mins and ones with renders like my current take 2hrs + cause of render times
